Once again, Blackstone Valley Sugaring Association and The Rainbow Palette will hold

their 3rd annual Silent Auction featuring hand-painted vintage maple sap buckets. The

buckets have been painted by artists throughout the Blackstone Valley with scenes of

the valley, sugaring, nature and other winter in New England themes.

The buckets will be on display over a period of three weeks. Bidders may view the

buckets and place bids beginning with the wine & cheese reception on February 28th.

Buckets will remain at the Alternative Gallery though March 5. The buckets will be

moved to River Bend Farm Visitors Center at 287 Oak St. in Uxbridge on March 7th.

From March 4th through March 22nd, bids may be placed during park hours. Bidding

closes on March 22 at 4:45 PM.

Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Blackstone Valley Sugaring Association and

The Rainbow Palette’s TLC Program that provides art programs for students with

disabilities, senior citizens, and students with financial hardships who might not

otherwise have access to art programs.
